Archbishop Spalding Summer camps

The evening camp was tons of fun!  Check back in the spring of 2009 for more opportunities!  The elite camp has limited room available for July 2008)

ASHS Girls Lax Camp:
When:  June 23-26th
Hours: 6:00-8:30 pm
Who: K-8th grade, Beg-Experienced players
Cost:  $150

Fast paced camp intended to both introduce the game to beginners and challenge the intermediate player.  Goalies encouraged and will be coached separately.  Fun environment with nightly awards.  All players receive a report card on the final night showing all skills covered, player's grasp of same and suggestions for future growth.  Indoor backup in case of thuderstorms so please bring tennis shoes. 
There simply is not a better summer lax camp for girls!

ASHS Elite Lax Camp:
When: July 28-31
Hours: 6:00-8:30 pm
Who: Incoming 9th graders.  Rising 8th graders welcome with approval from Camp Director.  This camp is for the experienced player. 
Cost: $150

The camp will introduce the signature Spalding Motion attack and all defensive sets (including zone).  Players will leave with a very developed sense of lacrosse strategy.  Topics will include team offense, team defense, center draw, free positions, transition as well as individual 1 v 1 skills.  Players will not only be taught "how" to move but "why".  If you know how to move you know how to win!  Indoor backup available in case of heat/storms so please bring indoor shoes.
